WAT

Wat is from the Nachon Si Thammarat province near Krabi. His family and Samran’s family know each other quite well. He is getting married next year, once he has saved enough money.

He went to Bunditpattanasin University, where he and Rit became friends. They studied the same courses. He likes experimenting with all different styles of painting, and has a particular gift with mixing colours and textures.

Wat likes to paint Buddhas very much because it comes, as he says, from the inside. If he had to do something else other than paint, he believes he would fish. Because then we would catch fish, many friends would come and we would make a party (smiling).

He likes motorbikes, and loves to paint pictures of motorbikes when he can.

“I paint from the inside. I hope Painted Lotus customers get as much joy from looking at my painting as I do from painting it.”
