01 Can I have anything painted?

The answer is yes, yes, yes. We have a range of artwork from which you can choose, but our artists can (and do frequently) paint from a photograph of people or places. Depending upon the size, expect to pay about $100 more for this level of customization, but our service and commitment to quality are thrown in!

We don’t offer replication of old or famous art, out of respect for those artists.

02 How much choice in colour do I have?

Pretty much any colours you would like that are able to made from a standard colour palette! We recommend colour options for our paintings, because we know from speaking with the artists what might work best. But don’t let that stop you from exercising your imagination.

03 How many different sizes can I choose from?

There is a wide range of sizes to choose from based mainly on what works best for the painting subject matter. You may want another size – and that’s easy. Let us know when you are ordering, and we can arrange.

04 Can I get an electronic version of my art?

You can download an A3 print of your preferred art to help you visualize what your original painting might look like.. These are not high quality digital print and your printer may not have photography print ink. When you purchase your artwork, you can opt to purchase an electronic version of your artwork. This will cost $50. So you can put it on your desktop, your media centre, or wherever you wish!

05 Where can I see some of this art?

Besides our website, we currently showcase at art fairs, stalls and markets across the eastern seaboard of Australia. Selected quality Thai restaurants and furniture design stores also hold our work. To find out where we are in a town near you, please contact us as the list is constantly changing, as people become aware just how beautiful and achievable our art is.

06 What about framing?

: You can have your painting gallery stretched. (included in your purchase price) or framed (an additional cost). We can help you decide the best option when you order your painting. Our gallery stretch is on renewable pine forest wood (good for the painting, and good for the environment).

07 Can I get it delivered and hung at the same time?

Yes. We’ve all experienced the joy of owning a piece of art, only to be perplexed by what is the ‘best way’ to hang the painting. If you would like this service, we can arrange for you.

Product Quality

08. How do I make sure that what I see is what I will get?

Well, we involve you in the process of design (see Our Quality process), which we think is a good start! Painted Lotus also reviews your painting. We regularly visit our painters, so we know how they produce their work, creatively and technically. At Painted Lotus, we have seen how all the painters create the art you will buy.

09. How can I tell from a photo that the painting is good quality?

We use maximum pixel digital quality photography for all our paintings. We have technical experience with colour and the way it may look on a screen, in a photo, and then in real life. We work to an international standard colour palette (called Pantone), which you can even upload onto your IPod or IPhone.

10. What happens if the painting is not what I thought it would be?

We believe the 5 step quality process we have introduced is so good that by the time your painting gets to you, it’s as if you had painted it yourself! And we are so certain about this that we offer a Painted Lotus 100% you’ll-totally-love-it-or-get-your-money-back-guarantee.

PRICE

11. How much will my painting cost?

All prices for our art are displayed with the painting in our Design Gallery. For example. a painting 100cm x 100 cm (which would complement a good sized dining or lounge room wall) is $450, inclusive of gallery stretch. We think that for a piece of art that works with your home or business décor, this is truly remarkable value for money. Shipping and transportation costs are extra.

12. How much and how long for delivery?

In Australia it can vary between $15 and $25 dollars depending whether you are in a metropolitan or other area. For other parts of the world, we quote at the time of order. All paintings are tracked from the time they leave us to the time they get to you. In Australia and New Zealand, it will take 2-3 working days to receive your painting, stretched and ready to hang from the time we notify you that it is ready for delivery. When you order, we can help you decide the best transportation and shipping options.

13. Are there discounts for more than one painting purchased?

As one of my artists said to me, “if you like, you buy more, I give you good price.” So of course, we would pass this onto you. Generally, you can expect about 10% discount for more than 1 and up to 3 paintings, 15% discount for 4 or more paintings. If you are a business wanting to remodel or refurbish your office space, or needing to prepare a house or unit for sale, our paintings are perfect!
